So... who are you?

Exact Copy are Richard Hurst and Victoria Glass.

Why are you called Exact Copy?

Because we are experts in TOV and the copy we write is accurate and engaging.

Our wide experience in writing journalism, scripts, books, copy and content has made us skilled at writing fluently, persuasively and to length. We know how to capture an audience and you can rely on us to hit tight deadlines with fast turnarounds.

Whether you need help creating a brand voice that captures your dream audience’s attention, or a safe pair of hands to adopt your existing, trusted tone, Exact Copy has you covered.

Why are there two of you?

Good question.

Together we have decades of experience writing books, TV, theatre and comedy scripts, features, sales and marketing copy, reviews, listings, and SEO material. We're also not bad at proof reading, editing and ghostwriting.

We're confident and skilled in the room. We know our way around a pitch meeting and have plenty of experience behind a mic on live radio and podcasts. Richard has been known to pop up on the telly as a talking head and Victoria’s head once popped up in a pumpkin for a Flora margarine campaign.

We use each other as springboards for ideas and as a first audience to check our jokes are landing. If you're after compelling, accurate and effective copy, we can definitely write it. When you hire one of us, you get the benefit of our combined wider experience.

And... are you married?

Yes.

Do you have any interests?

Yes, we do. Thanks for asking.

Victoria is a published author with particular expertise in food and drink. She was the first ever food writer-in-residence at the Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre and once cooked her way through the alphabet in a year, so she definitely knows her artichokes from her elbow.

She has written columns and features for print and online media, including The Sunday Times, Great British Chefs, and Women’s Health Magazine. She is an experienced content writer with a proven track record for getting results.

She’s also worked as a food stylist for both editorial and video, so she’s as comfortable on a shoot as she is behind a keyboard.

Richard has written award-winning TV and theatre scripts. One of his stage shows has been running in Las Vegas for five years, and he also co-wrote and directed the West End's longest-running pantomime. As well as writing on the likes of Miranda and Secret Diary of a Call Girl, he also created and wrote BBC's Bluestone 42 which ran for three series.

Before all that, he wrote reviews, listings and articles for a number of national titles and magazines, including The Independent, The Scotsman, and The Guardian

He has run workshops in comedy and story at educational and professional level, including for the advertising industry.
